I have been switching up the genres I read recentl I have been switching up the genres I read recently. I try to have a fantasy and/or sci-fi on the go whilst reading some contemporary fiction and I have been loving it. I find that I have a book in my hand more often than before as it’s two very fresh and different stories. I am rereading A Game of Thrones after listening to it on audiobook in lockdown and oh my… I missed a lot of detail - I think it’s the end of audio books for me which is a shame. A Little Life was bought for me as a gift of the back of my enjoyment of Cleopatra and Frankenstein. I don’t normally buy hard backs but ‘Ninth House’ and ‘Hell Bent’ have some incredible covers both dust jacket and on the actual book. This year I am going to try re-read 1 book a month that I either loved or feel like I missed something during the first read.
